In order to encourage optimum body mechanics during training sessions, we recommend wearing minimalist sneakers. If you don't already have some, here is some advice on how to pick a pair:
There are many brands and models to choose from, but not all shoes marketed at "minimalist" are truly minimalist, so make sure that if it is your first time looking into these types of shoes, you look for the ones with flat soles. Some shoes are "transition" models, which means they are kind of in between conventional sneakers and minimalist shoes. As long as the out sole drop is no more than 4mm, it should be just fine.
